A Space to Be Seen, Heard, and Understood

Therapy that integrates ancient wisdom with evidence-based healing.

No two nervous systems are exactly alike. If you didn't receive the emotional safety and nurturing you needed growing up, your body likely learned to protect you by staying in survival mode. You may find yourself wrestling with an inner critic or feeling overwhelmed by daily life, logically knowing you need self-care but not knowing how to let your guard down enough to receive it.

I believe deep work happens when we access the unconscious through the body and the imagination. By combining the structural approach of IFS (Internal Family Systems) with the soothing techniques of Somatic Experiencing and ancient mindfulness practices, we will bridge the gap between your mind and body.

Our goal is not just relief, but transformation: giving a voice to the parts of you that have been silenced and building the actual somatic skills you need to move from self-sacrifice to self-security.

My Specialties

Anxiety

Attachment Trauma & Complex PTSD

Many of us carry wounds from childhood where our emotional needs went unmet, or we didn't feel truly seen, heard, or understood. You might experience deep inner conflict, feeling as though parts of yourself are constantly battling one another. My goal is to help you build a secure attachment with yourself, releasing old burdens so you can trust your own ability to heal.

Some signs you might be struggling with this:

  • Feeling constantly on guard or unable to relax.

  • A harsh inner critic that creates feelings of self-loathing.

  • Difficulty trusting others or fear of abandonment in relationships.

  • Feeling "young" or helpless when triggered by stress.

Anxiety

Anxiety often feels like an internal alarm that won't turn off. You may feel overwhelmed by daily tasks or find yourself stuck in loops of worry. We work together to help you understand your nervous system, learning to soothe yourself and regulate that internal alarm so you can face challenges with confidence.

Some signs you might be struggling with this:

  • A racing mind that makes it difficult to focus or sleep.

  • Physical tension, restlessness, or a pounding heart.

  • Over-analyzing interactions or fearing judgment from others.

  • Avoiding activities or places you once enjoyed due to fear.

Depression

Depression is more than just sadness; it can feel like carrying a heavy, invisible weight. You might feel confused, conflicted, or disconnected from the things that used to bring you joy. We will gently explore these feelings to help you unburden the parts of you holding this weight, moving toward a place of relief and connection.

Some signs you might be struggling with this:

  • Persistent feelings of emptiness, hopelessness, or numbness.

  • Loss of interest in hobbies or socializing.

  • Fatigue or exhaustion, even after sleeping.

  • Difficulty making decisions or feeling "foggy."

Life Transition & Adjustment

Whether you are a college student, a professional navigating a career shift, or exploring your identity, change can be destabilizing. It is common to feel confused or conflicted when the path forward isn't clear. I support you in making choices that align with your values, helping you navigate these shifts with clarity and self-trust.

Some signs you might be struggling with this:

  • Feeling stuck or unsure of who you are in this new chapter.

  • Increased stress or irritability related to a specific life change.

  • Grieving the loss of your "old life" or identity.

  • Anxiety about the future or feeling unprepared for what comes next.

Additional Areas of Focus

In addition to the core specialties above, I also support clients navigating:

  • Codependency & Relationship Issues

  • Disordered Eating & Body Image

  • Grief & Loss

  • Self-Esteem & Self-Compassion

  • Gender Identity Exploration

  • Sex Positive & Kink Allied Support

  • Stress Management & Coping Skills

Your nervous system learned to survive; now we can teach it to rest.

My Approach to Therapy

Our work together is rooted in attunement, collaboration, and creativity.

My goal is to create fertile ground where you feel truly seen and heard , so you can begin to understand and trust yourself, regulate your nervous system, and make choices that align with your deepest values. I believe that deep, lasting healing happens when we access the wisdom of the unconscious mind and the body.

Internal Family Systems (IFS) & Parts Work

I became a therapist to share the power of IFS. This approach views the mind as having different "parts."

We’ll get to know these parts, understanding their roles and releasing the personal and generational burdens they carry.

This process helps resolve inner conflict and allows you to lead from a place of calm, confidence, and compassion.

Body Oriented & Somatic Therapies

Often, our emotional needs that went unmet in childhood are stored in the body. I provide a variety of body-oriented techniques to help you connect with your physical self and access the deep work that happens beyond words.

We may use guided gentle movement, soothing self-touch, or paced breathing to help regulate your nervous system and build confidence in your ability to soothe yourself.

Acceptance & Commitment Therapy

This practical, evidence-based approach helps you clarify your values and commit to actions that enrich your life, even when difficult feelings arise.

Ancient Technologies

To complement our work, I often incorporate ancient practices like the Qi Gong of Traditional Chinese Medicine and Yogic breathing.

These powerful tools are designed to calm the nervous system and cultivate a deeper mind-body connection.
