Cultivate a Deeper Connection to Yourself
Online Individual Therapy in Oregon
Evidence-based approach to therapy, tailored to your unique needs and designed to help you cultivate a life you love.
You make perfect sense.
Do you logically know you deserve self-care, yet still feel caught in distressing patterns?
You might find yourself wrestling with a loud inner critic or a reflex to put everyone else first—even when you are doing everything "right." Even if you understand your past, your body is likely still stuck in survival mode, carrying the weight of unmet childhood needs. These aren't flaws; they are protective parts of you that don't know it's safe to let go yet.
I help adults with less-than-ideal childhoods move beyond "knowing the answer" and into the actual experience of relief.
If you are tired of the internal war, you are in the right place.

Hi, I’m Red!
I believe that we can’t force growth; we can only cultivate the conditions for it.
For over 20 years, I have worked with clients to create that fertile ground, helping them move from survival mode into a life of genuine connection.
My work focuses specifically on attachment trauma—the soil where your story began. Instead of just managing symptoms, we will work to unearth the roots of old patterns. This deep work allows you to release the heavy weight of the past, clearing the way for a secure, trusting relationship with yourself.
True peace comes not from fighting yourself, but from befriending your parts.
My Therapy Services
You bring a unique history to therapy, often shaped by the level of emotional safety and nurturing you received growing up.
If those needs went unmet, you may find yourself today with parts that are in conflict—trying to protect you but keeping you stuck. I offer a creative, collaborative space where we move beyond just "talking" about your past. My approach helps you release the burdens of your childhood so you can build a secure, trusting relationship with yourself and the people you love.
While I help with a wide range of life's challenges, these are my key specialty areas.
-
Attachment trauma can occur when our emotional needs were not met in childhood, leaving us feeling unseen, misunderstood, or unsupported. I can help you heal these early wounds by building secure attachment with yourself and others, allowing you to form more fulfilling relationships and confidently set boundaries.
You may be struggling with attachment trauma if you experience:
Inner conflict, as if parts of you are battling each other.
Difficulty understanding and communicating your needs to others.
A pattern of engaging in behaviors you don't like or understand.
Knowing self-love is important but struggling to put it into practice.
-
I provide a safe, body-oriented approach to help you process and heal from traumatic experiences, whether recent or from your childhood. Together, we can work to release personal and generational emotional burdens and help your nervous system find regulation and peace.
Common signs of unresolved trauma include:
Feeling constantly overwhelmed or anxious.
Struggling with self-loathing.
Feeling conflicted or confused about yourself and your experiences.
Finding it difficult to build trusting, secure relationships.
-
Anxiety can feel overwhelming, but it doesn't have to control your life. I use a variety of techniques, including body-oriented practices like paced breathing and gentle movement, to help you understand and regulate your nervous system. The goal is to help you soothe yourself and confidently address challenges as they arise.
Anxiety can manifest in many ways, including:
Feeling overwhelmed by daily life.
A persistent sense of inner conflict or confusion.
Difficulty making choices that align with your personal values.
Struggling to feel seen, heard, or understood.
-
Depression often brings with it a heavy sense of self-loathing and inner conflict. My approach is to help you understand the parts of yourself that are in pain, offering them the support they have been waiting for so you can learn to like yourself again.
You may be experiencing depression if you are dealing with:
Feelings of self-loathing or worthlessness.
A sense of being conflicted or confused about who you are.
Difficulty setting boundaries or communicating your needs.
A struggle to form the fulfilling relationships you desire.
-
Major life changes, even positive ones, can leave us feeling overwhelmed, confused, and full of self-doubt. I can help you navigate these transitions with confidence, make choices that align with your values, and build skills to self-regulate when challenges arise.
You may be struggling with a life transition if you are:
Feeling overwhelmed by a new role or situation.
Experiencing high levels of stress.
Feeling confused about your next steps.
Finding that your old coping skills aren't working anymore.
My Approach to Therapy
Our work together is rooted in attunement, collaboration, and creativity. My goal is to create fertile ground where you feel truly seen and heard, allowing us to bridge the gap between logically knowing you are safe and physically feeling it.
By accessing the wisdom of the unconscious mind and the body, we can soothe the parts of you that are stuck in survival mode, helping you build a life guided by trust rather than fear.
Internal Family Systems (IFS) & Parts Work
I became a therapist to share the power of IFS. This approach views the mind as having different "parts."
We’ll get to know these parts, understanding their roles and releasing the personal and generational burdens they carry.
This process helps resolve inner conflict and allows you to lead from a place of calm, confidence, and compassion.
Often, our emotional needs that went unmet in childhood are stored in the body. I provide a variety of body-oriented techniques to help you connect with your physical self and access the deep work that happens beyond words.
We may use guided gentle movement, soothing self-touch, or paced breathing to help regulate your nervous system and build confidence in your ability to soothe yourself.
Body Oriented & Somatic Therapies
Acceptance & Commitment Therapy
This practical, evidence-based approach helps you clarify your values and commit to actions that enrich your life, even when difficult feelings arise.
Ancient Technologies
To complement our work, I often incorporate ancient practices like the Qi Gong of Traditional Chinese Medicine and Yogic breathing.
These powerful tools are designed to calm the nervous system and cultivate a deeper mind-body connection.
