Meet Red Wilson
Online Individual Therapy in Oregon
Attunement | Collaboration | Creativity | Self-Love
It’s a pleasure to meet you.
Hi, I'm Kaitlyn "Red" Wilson (she/her).
People who know me best would describe me as warm, kind, nurturing, and affectionate. But they'd also call me creative, playful, silly, adventurous, and deep. I bring all of these parts of myself into therapy.
I believe that healing doesn't have to be cold or clinical. It can be a playful and powerful mix of deep emotional work and genuine, human connection. My practice is built on a foundation of attunement, collaboration, creativity, and self-love.
This means our work is a true partnership (collaboration) where you feel genuinely seen and heard (attunement). We'll use flexible and often body-oriented techniques (creativity) to help you build a lasting, compassionate relationship with yourself (self-love).
My goal is simple: to help you heal from attachment trauma and build a secure, trusting, and loving relationship with yourself first, so you can then cultivate more fulfilling relationships with others.
My Journey to This Work.
My path to becoming a therapist was deeply personal. For over 20 years, I've worked as a helping professional, but my "why" comes from my own lived experience.
My own healing journey led me to discover the incredible power of Internal Family Systems (IFS) therapy. This model changed my life, and I knew I had to share its transformative power with others who might be struggling in the same ways I was.
I know what it's like to feel conflicted, anxious, overwhelmed, and confused. I also know the relief, understanding, and confidence that come from doing this work.
One of the most fulfilling moments for me as a therapist is walking a client through an IFS dialogue and witnessing the unburdening of a part that has been waiting so long for support and healing.
Outside of Sessions
When I'm not working, I believe in practicing what I preach—living a full, connected, and joyful life. You can often find me...
Going on as many group bike rides as I can, rain or shine.
Social dancing, including tango, swing, and blues.
Rollerskating, playing my ukulele, singing, and practicing yoga or poetry.
Driving around listening to hip hop, emo, funk, or folk—really, anything I can sing to!
I'm an extraverted, curious, and free-spirited person (a classic ENFP, for those who are curious!), and I love connecting with my community.

How I Can Help
Healing from A Difficult Childhood
If you struggle with relationship insecurity or painful patterns that feel stuck, you may be experiencing the lasting impact of attachment trauma. I offer a collaborative space to help you heal past wounds and build a secure, trusting relationship with yourself and those you love.
Managing Anxiety, Depression & Overwhelm
Many of my clients start therapy feeling anxious, overwhelmed, or conflicted, often stemming from a constantly activated nervous system. I use body-oriented techniques and nervous system regulation skills to help you establish confidence, soothe yourself, and replace overwhelm with clarity.
Resolving Inner-Conflict and Emotional Burdens
If parts of you are constantly battling each other or you engage in behaviors you don't like, I utilize Internal Family Systems (IFS) and parts work to stop the internal conflict. This process leads to an emotional unburdening, where you feel seen and heard, resulting in a deep sense of self-acceptance and relief.
